				I am using the GA-z77 UP5 TH (rev 1.0)   with windows 7 64 bit
Just built a new machine with a 3770k, all quality components.  Everything is working perfectly except....
The digital audio does not work from the optical SPDIF port.   I had it on, but it cuts out and cannot be turned back on.   I see the Red color in the cable so I know there is signal, and i see the level meters in windows and the realtek app moving but no sound.
Previously, I was an audio engineer, I KNOW very well how to set up audio on a computer.  I used to do digital recording for over 10 years.
What is the problem and is it a known issue?
So basically i just spent $229, and i need to know if I should RMA now.
