Title: Any utility to find out which HDD is attached to which port?
Post by: alokep on January 04, 2013, 02:39:00 am
This is  on a GA-X58A-UD5Rev 2 board with X58A-UD5 FE Bios with AHCI enabled.

Is there any utility in Windows 7 Pro that will tell me which of my disks (that show up in Disk Manager in Windows) are attached to which port on which controller?

I want to avoid opening up my PC. Besides, I have 3 identical drives that show up with the same identifiers in the boot up POST screens.

Thanks.
PS: This is to debug why Acronis True Image 2013 is not recognizing one of my drives, even though it is recognized by the BIOS and by Windows 7.
