Title: GA-X79-UP4 Question
Post by: Scracy on January 10, 2013, 02:16:57 am
Hi guys i have just build my new machine with the x79 chipset. I have installed the new bios F3P which seems to allow me to run the hard drives in raid 0 in either RST or RSTe. My question is if i run RST does that allow TRIM functionality? ie: would the intel ssd toolbox work if  the raid is configured with RST instead of RSTe with the right driver? Has anybody tried this? Iam running in RSTe mode at present. Does x79 support TRIM at all in raid 0 at present? If not why did Gigabyte release this new bios F3P and allow for raid 0 with RST? Any help would be appreciated.
