Title: Raid configuration in GA-Z77X-UD4H
Post by: kokkomik on January 26, 2013, 02:16:19 pm
Hi,

I’ve had RAID configuring problem with Gigabyte GA-X77Z-UD4H mainboard. I have two similar ssd –drives and I need to build up RAID 0 array. Manual is saying that you could access raid array building tool by pressing CTR+M after boot, but in reality nothing happens. Is the manual wrong, or could somebody tell the right combination.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

have you enabled the SATA controller to RAID Mode in BIOS? If not you will need to do this and you can find the setting under the Peripherals heading.

The Ctrl+M setting is for the Marvell RAID controller whilst Ctrl+l is used for the Intel RAID controller.
