I am assuming that the problem is with the board but I am not sure.
Last night I turned the PC on to find no beep, no boot and no display.
I have the Gigabyte P55-UD5 mobo
OCZ 1600MHz 4GB DDR3 Low voltage memory
I7 860 CPU
OCZ SSD
Hyper 880W PSU
The CPU LED flashes once every 4 seconds or so and the phase LED's are all lit like a christmas tree. All the fans, drives, gfx card fan, pci sound card (leds on) and rear lan ports come on or have their LED's illuminated.
Have tried with only one stick of memory, with no memory, with no gfx card, no drives, even no anything connected except cpu and hsf and still I get the fans all spin up all the phase leds ignited no system beeps and the cpu led flash.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I yanked the psu out last night and used it to power the wifes Q6600, Striker II Formula, 8800GTS 512 box and it works fine.
I also took the battery out, cleared the cmos and left it unpowered over night. No effect. Same as before.
Am thinking the board just took a dump :(

Yeah sounds like it to me tbh, did you try both sticks of memory singularly? Also I would be tempted to use the PSU in the other rig on your p55 board

Yeah I tried them both on their own. I have a machine my friend is going to loan me tomorrow hopefully that i can pull a psu from to try on my UD5. I also submitted a tech support request to Gigabyte also.

Okay, keep us posted. Doesn't look great if i'm being honest. But don't mind being proven wrong! ^_^

lol turns out it was the graphics card! Grrr. Gone back to Saphirre RMA. Just waiting for the new one.
