Title: On Board Lan G1 Sniper M3 does not start.
Post by: Graceman on February 05, 2013, 04:04:19 pm
I have a little issue with the on board Lan on my new board just discovered when setting up Lan on my new system.
The Lan does not start from network side I am told I am connected from the PC side I am told there are no devices.
Device manager reports it could not start and all I have to do is run scan for hardware changes and it connects rest of day is fine turn off and restart and you lose the network so not much help to programs that need network on start up like antivirus.

Anyone got any clues?

I now have to run reinstall drivers on every first daily start to get Lan to work?

I now seem to have answered my own question. Iin search this I came across teh F10c beta bios and it stated it had better Lan compatability.
So after some time creating a Dos boot USBQflash did not want to read the USB device for some reson.
I now have the Lan running at start up with no help from me so it was in teh Bios after all.

Now this makes me ask a very serious Question as I am running Windows 8 64 bit OS and I have just had tolod a Beta Bios was teh G1 Sniper M3 ever meant to run Windows 8 64 bit as for teh first time there is specific Win8 & Win8 WHQL setting for OS in the Bios. anyone know what they are about.

Now its just the mouse off the PS2 port tht does not work. ( Wonder if this is Win 8 again )
