Hi,
I have a SSD with Windows7 installed. When i connect another HDD (not ssd) the windows boot time is increased by 20 second.
Anu idea why?
(AHCI is enabled)

you only have 4 sata ports on that doard and for some reason mine is the smae also. I have a SSD in sata-0 then 2 x 500 gig platters in sata-1-2 and a sats dvd drive in sata 6 running in sata regular mode.
Weird thing is if i take all out except the dvd drive my times are still increased so i think it is windows looking for boot drive. Make sure your boot drive is the SSD in bios mine is but it still happens so id call it normal Maybe someonme can explain it better just didnt want you to fret until someone else posted.

In BIOS the SSD is the first on boot sequence.
I have a DVD on IDE port (port 0). I'll try to remove the dvd, to see what happens.
If you find something please let me know.
Thanks!

You SSD boot drive should always be in the first port so that might help some.
