does anyone have any ideas which CPU Coolers are suited bettrt for my board?
I have a Ga-Z77x-ud5-th with an Intel i5 3750K, not only is my heat sink too weak, but it covers the #1 RAM slot.. my ram is Corsair Dominator DDR3 2000 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145330
I looking at a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 140mm SSO CPU Cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608019
looks like it has better room for the Ram
thanks

Hi there,
If I remember correctly most of the Noctua coolers will also cause a problem with the cooler overhanging the RAM slots on the motherboard. I used to use the Noctua NH-D14 and it covered the two closest slots.
But it's not all bad news. With the dominator RAM you can actually remove the heat-sink fins from the top of the module(s) by using an Allen Key (wrench) which I did. This doesn't usually cause any problems but you have to make sure there is good air-flow through the case.
Of course, another option is to watercool the CPU.
