Title: Gigabyte radeon hd 7970 3gb no display
Post by: Obeyyjoker on February 15, 2013, 08:53:28 pm
Earlier i bought a radeon hd 7970 and a new 850 w power supply.
I installed the drivers and i connected my PSU and my graphics card.
Then i put in my hdmi cable to my graphics card to my tv.
I started it up but no display.
I did research that i was supposed to enable the Pci-e from my bios.
But i dont know my bios key.
I have a HP h8-1214.

HELP!!!

The bios key is most likely F10, when starting the computer press F10 once every second until the bios screen appears
What GPU did you have before?

Other possibilities are F1, F11.

As Trasher said keep pressing the key continuously while booting up.

From the specs page your system came with 10GB of ram & a HD 7450 GPU plus 300w power supply.

The GPU & PSU is a good upgrade but what about the RAM? have you upgraded this as you might need more if you are into gaming, just a thought.

Ben.
