Hi,
I'm using the GA-970A-D3 with rev.1.0/1.1 pcb and the FX6100 now, I will upgrade to the FX8350, but my PCB is rev.1.0/1.1. :(
Even with the BIOS update the FX8350 is not disclosed in the rev.1.0/1.1 list and I'm aware of the voltage differences 95w Vs 125w.
So what to do? What happes if I plug the 8350?
I think there will be not enough power to boot the proc. :(
Thank you

Hi there,
it might be a good idea to ask Gigabyte Technical support if the FX8350 is or will be supported as from what I can make out there are other 125Watt CPU's that will run on this motherboard.

Yes I think the same, but I was searching in the official site but no tickets or support options.... How to directly conntact them?
Thanks.

Yes , for that CPU.
You need version 1.4 or 3.0 to have support for it.
You could use the FX 8300 ,the power efficient 95W version 8 core.
But in spite of being already paper launched not many seen it :)

To sad.
