Title: GA-P35-DS3R BIOS Boot Problems with USB
Post by: robertsmith on February 26, 2013, 04:59:14 am
I posted this issue on Tweaktown (http://"http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/51719-ga-p35-ds3r-bios-problems-usb-inserted.html") but have not received a response.  I recently put in an E6750 into a GA-P35-DS3R.  The chip was known to OC to 3.8GHZ.  I had a USB formatted with memtest86+ 5.01b inserted for RAM testing and when I tried OCing the E6750, the system would not post and restart with BIOS defaults.  I was able to post at defaults, but I could not boot from USB for some reason.  I kept thinking this was OCing issue, until I removed the USB and then the system booted fine and the OC and was stable.  Is this a known issue or do I need to be concerned with a problem with my board?
