				Hi everyone!
I picked up a brand new Gigabyte 970A-D3 a while back but after firing it up, I noticed the Northbridge chip heating up to a whopping 73C at idle.
I felt very unsafe building a system that has such a hot spot on the motherboard.  I RMA'd this MB to Gigabyte.  Their response was quick, the service great, and the turn around time only a few days.  That speaks a lot about great service.
But, Gigabyte did not include any documentation as to what was done to alleviate the over heating problem.
I did notice the serial number was the same as the one I sent in.
How can I discover what was done?  Who do I contact?
I would like understanding as to what was done on this MB before I attempt to slap it into a new system.
Can anyone help me please?
Thank you very, very much!
