Title: GA-X58A-UD3R Fan connectors
Post by: Gwy on March 01, 2013, 04:49:53 pm
Hi all

On the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R rev2, how many fan connectors are able to manage the speed of fans : reading speed & adjust speed ?

Cpu_fan in PWM or voltage OK, but the others 5 ?

Not find with Speefan  :(

Any idea or link ?

Thanks

It looks like 2- 3 pin and 2- 4 pin. The two 3 pin connectors are just power.

The two 4 pin connectors one being for the cpu.

The other 4 pin is what they call a system power connector and you might be able to control that one.

The other 3 pin connectors might not be able to control them.

All most MB it has to be a 4 pin connector to be able to control it.

Right

SYS_FAN1/SYS_FAN3/PWR_FAN have 3 pins connector and can read

Northbridge fan connector have only 2 pins connected

I have not yet, try the last 4 pins

Thanks dmdilks
