I am assuming "no" as even NVIDIA has provided a patch to enable PCIe 3.0 for their graphics cards?

According to the spec's for your motherboard the PCI x 16 slots are 3.0
All PCI Express x16 slots conform to PCI Express 3.0 standard

I believe the Nvidia patch that you are referring too is required for the processor to handle PCI 3.0 not the motherboard.

Quick question. In my BIOS (which is the latest one) I can only see three settings for PCIe: Auto, 2 Gbps, and 5 Gbps.
Where is the 8 Gbps setting for PCIe 3.0?

Ah to answer that question you will probably need to ask Gigabyte Tech Support as I do not know the answer myself.
