Hi all,
Built my new system yesterday and today I tried to change the on-board graphics to 128M from 64M. PC just keeps resetting when it reaches the Windows splash screen (Doesn't even display)
Here's my system ;
Windows 7 64bit
Gigabyte Z77M-D3H
i5 3750k @ 3.8Ghz (Turbo)
8GB RAM
SSD
Installed the latest drivers and updated to the latest BIOS (I've also tried an older BIOS)
Would appreciate any help given
Thanks,
Liam :)

When you change the memory are setting both these or just the internal graphics memory.
Internal Graphics Memory Size
DVMT Total Memory Size
If you have set the DVMT try putting back the default setting and that is max.

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried both options but does the same. PC is just about the get the Windows splash screen then it reboots.

Could be a BIOS issue. What version are you running? If it is not the latest version try updating to that and see if that helps at all.

Thanks for the reply. Running f14g.
It's an odd one, can't work it out nor can I find anything about it.

Anyone else shed some light on this please?

Just asking did you set the on board graphics to be the 1st one and not auto.
Plus I have been doing some reading it sound like you can't change that setting.
By what I'm reading is that you can only set it to the min setting and not the max.
Try running the DxDiag and see what that has to say. After you might see something like this.
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC type: Internal
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0106&SUBSYS_FCE01179&REV_09
Display Memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB
Shared Memory: 1632 MB

This is what I got ;
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC type: Internal
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0162&SUBSYS_D0001458&REV_09
Display Memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB
Shared Memory: 1632 MB

Display Memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB
Shared Memory: 1632 MB
It is showing you that you can use up 1696 mb of memory. 1632 mb system + 64 mb from the bios setting = 1696 mb. So like i said that you can't change that setting in the bios sorry.
