Do any Gigabyte motherboards support a disk password for self-encrypting SSDs?

I'm running a usb drive that is encrypted and has a password. It isn't a SSD but it should work. Here is a couple of links on encrypting SSD.

Thanks, but you misunderstood my question. Your links refer to software encryption. I was asking about support for self-encrypting drives (that is, hardware encryption). Using an SSD's self-encryption capability requires a motherboard that lets you specify a disk password.

That one might be a hard one to answer. The only ones that might be able and that is maybe server board.

I did some research on it and there is not much info on which boards support that. You might have call Gigabyte.

Yes, I noticed. That's why I posted the question here.

I appreciate your desire to help, but the question is really directed at anyone who might know the answer.

Yes and that is why I'm telling you that you might have talk to Gigabyte. Because it is about 90% chance you are not going get a answer here.

Please, I feel guilty wasting your time on this when you could instead be helping someone whose question you're able to answer.

Yes. The absence of any informed response tells me there's probably no one out there with a Gigabyte board that supports a disk password. Otherwise, someone would probably have noticed that option and reported it here. So that answers my question.
