Title: 16GB (2x8GB) on 890FX-UD5

Hello,

I own the 890FX-UD5 and will probably need a memory update. I was considering getting a 4x4GB kit, however I've noticed that now 2x8GB kits are available. Will it work with my mobo? Or should I stick to the 4x4GB option?

The limit on that motherboard is 16 gigs and as it has 4 slots that means a limit of 4 gigs in each slot. It will not handle 8 gig sticks.
