I for some reason can get my ram to go over 1866 even thought it is rated 2100. I change the ram multiplier and no matter what I make it CPUz always says 933. Any ideas what is going on? Does the board have some type of lock or something?

Have you tried to enable xmp profile?

If XMP isn't allowing you to run at the rated specs, then try manually entering in the freq., & timings.

i have the X79-UP4
i had all kinds of trouble getting the board to run at 2133mhz
believe it or not, the only way i could get ram frequencies to stick is to use the Easytune program
once i set it, i saved a bios profile and could restore it without Easytune installed
its a rather bizarre thing :p
good luck
