Title: Connect TV to D-Sub port with VGA-S/Video cable
Post by: HairyScot on March 20, 2013, 07:19:58 am
I have a GA-B75M-D2V with Intel HD Graphics 2500.
Does this board/drivers support connecting a TV to the D-Sub port using a VGA-S/Video cable or will I need to fit a card with TV out?

What does the TV have for connection. VGA, HDMI, or S-Video.

If the TV has a VGA just connect to that just like to a computer monitor. But you will not have sound to TV only Video.

If the TV has a HDMI connection you have to buy video card with HDMI port. Than you will have sound and video.

If the TV has S-Video connection you have to buy a Video card with a S-Video port. You might not have sound.

You can connect it by a DVI to HDMI cable but you will not have sound to TV only Video. That is if the TV has HDMI.
