Title: GA-X58A-UD7: HDD 2TB as 1TB in bios
Post by: speedok on January 26, 2010, 07:59:51 am
Aloha,

The 2TB HDD of Hitachi 7K2000 shows up as 1TB in the bios, (in windows 7 as max 931GB). Tried bios version F2, and the beta F3.
both show up max. 1000GB. I got 2x 2TB, both have the same problem. Anyone knows how to get the full '2TB' ?

Already thanks.

Are you able to verify that they show up as normal in a different computer? It may be a bad/mislabeled batch of hard drives.

You haven't got your drives in RAID1 have you?
