I have a M68MT-S2 motherboard. I am pretty sure it is rev 3.1 because it says that it supports AM3+ while Rev 1.3 only supports AM3. First, is there a way to find out which Rev I have? Next, if I do have 3.1 can it support two 8gb ram sticks? The site says Rev 3.1 can, but I have seen other places say that it can only support up to 8gb total like Rev 1.3
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
the Revision number is printed on the motherboard in the lower left hand edge/corner and will read: Rev3.1 or Rev1.3 depending on your actual motherboard.
If it is the Rev3.1 board it can handle 2x8Gb sticks of RAm (16 Gb) in total. The Rev 1.3 can only handle 2X4Gb sticks (8Gb) in total.
For more info and downloads check here for the Rev 3.1 motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3967#sp
For the Rev 1.3 motherboard check here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3645#sp
