Hi Guys,
I have just built a new system for my brother as follows.
GA-Z77-HD3 Rev 1
Intel i5 3750K
Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz
XFX Pro550w Core Edition
Club3D 7870XT JokerCard
Windows 7 64 bit
The GPU is plugged into the PCI-Ex16 top slot but will not show any display under the default BIOS settings. I have tried setting the Init Display First setting to PEG which did not work. I have tried manually setting the PEG Gen-x setting to Peg 3 which also does not work. However if I set this setting to Peg 2 it does work.
I have also plugged in my amd 6950 into the PCI-E x16 slot which does show display, so it seems to be an issue with PCI Express 3.0.
Onboard graphics works fine and there are no other PCI cards plugged in.
Any help would be much appreciated?
Thanks

Have you tried updating the BIOS to see if that helps?

I have updated the BIOS to the latest Beta version F2e. This hasn't helped unfortunately.
There appears to be only version F1 for this mobo that is not beta.

If the latest BIOS hasn't helped I would recommend contacting Tech Support as they may have access to a newer version that you can try. This is, of course, assuming that the problem lies with the BIOS. If it doesn't they should be in a better position to advise you on what's going wrong and why.
Sorry I can't be more help but hopefully someone else may have encountered this issue and has a solution for you.

OK I will see what Technical Support say. Thanks for your help.

Storage Boot Option Control -> Legacy Only
Display Boot Option Control -> Legacy Only
Other PCI Device ROM Priority -> Legacy OpRom

if this Display Boot Option Control -> Legacy Only cannot work, you may try to set it UEFI to check.
