I run the G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) in both of my x79 boards.

Try and run one stick of memory. Move it around till you get it to boot. Than add another stick. Till you have memory in all the slots that will run.

You might have some slots or channels that are bad. You will have to try all the sticks too to make sure you don't have a bad stick of memory too.

Hi, I tried one module at time, tried to change the socket too, and none of 8 modules worked.

I tested with other common memory module (DDR3 2GB ) and the system started normaly.

I open up computer and this the G-Skill memory I'm running - F3-17000CL11Q-16GBZL I have 32gb in the UP4  computer and 16 in the UP3.

Plus I went over to newegg and people are having problems with memory on the UP5 board.
