Title: GA-M68M-S2P Additional PCI Network Cards Problem
Post by: geoffsim on April 08, 2013, 06:19:58 pm
I have just obtained this MB and cannot get it to work with 2 additional PCI HP NIC Networks cards, type BCM95702.
An HP dual NIC works fine in the PCI-E slot.

Whatever I have tried, I have been unable to get them to work in any useful fashion.

Both cards work fine in my DELL 745, alongside the onboard NIC.

Any help would be appreciated.

If there is no more  BIOS support for the motherboard you should upgrade.

If you intend to build a gateway go for a FM2 combo.

Hi Geoffsim

So a dual card works fine in PCI-E

but the two PCI cards fail, is it possible to try different nic's, I have found INTEL Nic's to be easier to set up, especially when using more than one.
could it be a mainboard driver limitation in the operating system? It shouldn't be an issue, but the nforce chipsets haven't done much in a long time.
