Title: GA-Z77X-D3H USB ports cutting out
Post by: Bcegan on April 22, 2013, 11:14:51 pm
I am having an issue with the USB ports on this board.  I am running windows 8 64 bit with all drivers for the board installed. At what seems to be random times a USB port on the board will simply stop responding.  It does not seem to matter what type of device was plugged into the USB port and can happen to any port on the system.  Once the port stops working unplugging the device and inserting it again does nothing and the only way to get the port to function again is to reboot.

the only thing you can try is to update to the latest bios.

Did anyone ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same problem with this board on win7 64 bit.

Had the board replaced once because of this and the new one still had the same problem.

EDIT: just playing around in the BIOS and it seems to happen there as well.

I have this problem also.it's very annoying it's crashing my Mavericks install and messing up my Windows 8 x64. It's dropping out with mice my wired xbox pad I flashed newer bios and the problem still occurs. This does seem like a common problem with this board.
