Hi all
Just got a new mobo from gigabyte im really happy with the mobo.
BUT teh software Easytune 6 has a virus in it so beware.
Just after installing all the software and i rebooted a audiofile started in background.
And my processor went up to 70% load and memory to.
After some research i found in my taskmanager a program called STDSTRt.exe Media Dashboard was running and took all the resources.
So if u have it running uninstall easytune 6 and use the program UnHackMe to clean our computer.
It´s the only way to get rid off it, it´s a pain in the *** virus.
Good Luck if have it.

Or the simple answer would not to install easytune in the first place....

Well it is food for thought but I have been using Easy tune 6 for over 10 months now and never an issue.
My cpu's all sit down at 10% or less and I play Battlefield 3 Crysis 3 Black Ops all with no issues.
If this can be proved I will remove it, but I feel that a company as large as this would think twice before adding a virus to there product it just does not seem to make business sense.
I thank you for this post and I will be running some in-depth tests on my pc on Monday and if they come up as it is spyware all I can say is "they can Look Out !" but I think it will come up fine
Thanks Avokao for the heads up.
Blade.
