So here's what's happening installed new motherboard setup. Everything is working except apparently there is this chronic issue that I've read a lot about. I'm having the same issue. Basically when I boot my mouse and keyboard both usb do not work until I get to windows installation. When I get to what drive I want to install stuff on I get the error message "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the setup log files for more information" When I click for more information says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu." Problem is I can't load to bios because mouse and keyboard do not work pre windows installation screen. Tried resetting bios, popping mobo battery. Out of ideas..... Thanks guys.
Called support all they could recommend was reset cmos. Did it, didn't work.

Get a keyboard that has a PS2 connection. That way you can get into the bios and then set eveything up.
