I have a mirror on my GA-P35-DS3P mobo which contains my boot os. I want to take out one of drives to build a new PC but when I attempt to 'break' the mirrror, I'm told you can't - because is contains the OS. Am I doing something wrong, or it is really that bad...

ok, figured it out...
1. Turn off PC
2. Disconnect one of the drives (second one for me)
3. Boot up
4. Hit CTRL-G when degraded state is reported.
5. Select the option to revert disk to non-raid and ignore the warning that everything is going to be wiped. (Hitting 'del' makes it feel even worse)
6. Save & Exit (reboots)
Works perfectly.
