Title: Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 Lan Issues
Post by: voidofenigmas on May 05, 2013, 02:51:07 pm
I simply do not have a network controller under device manager under hardware. Installed everything from gigabyte and when I try to install LAN drivers it says
"The RealTek Network Adapter/Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode enabled Please Plug the Cable". Have tried clearing the cmos, uninstalling reinstalling the lan software. I can not get into the bios because keyboard does not work pre windows. Any ideas guys? Desperate here.

Also installed a wireless card to see if I could get internet working like that. No dice jim rice. Still says no wireless networks detected. Verified wireless card works in a previous pc.

while installing the drivers from the disk. Briefly my wireless popped up and was able to see a network. Soon as install finished went back to no connections available. ugh so frustrating.

got into bios now. LAN's enabled default bios settings. No problems there. Still no network adapter. Tried wireless card no joy. Read that by disabling the IOMMU will fix issues but can't find it in bios.

Your board doesn't support Iommu and here is a list of boards that do support it. That is why you can't find it.

I'm sorry for bumping this but i have the exact same problem. Cannot get it to find the network controller at all. Can't install the driver for it cause i get the same message ("The RealTek Network Adapter/Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode enabled Please Plug the Cable".)

Please, someone must know how to fix this.
