Hey, when I go to boot my PC I cannot do so without first activating OC Ignition.
In order to boot I have to: 1) Activate OC Ignition button 2) Press the power button to send power to fans/etc 3) Wait a few seconds and hit the power button again.
I have already tried clearing the CMOS, removing the CMOS battery for 10 minutes and using the CBAT_SW. All suggested by the Gigabyte support team and none of them have done a thing.
Running F4 Bios.

So you NEED to use the feature to fire up?
I have tried OC Ignition myself but i can just toggle it On and Off.
Only played with it once tho, and i was still on F3 i believe.

I wouldn't call it a feature anymore, so much as an inconvenience.
I HAVE to use it to boot my PC. The Hardware power button on the board doesn't even work.

Any chance the OC Ignition button is like stuck?
Well not the button, but perhaps the switch inside.

No, I can feel/hear the switch activating.

There is a new F5q Bios you could try.
But it doesn't seem to be a Bios issue since i don't have the problem.
You could try switching to the second Bios with the switches on the board.
If that doesn't help it seems like a defect.

Hi Core21,
Welcome to forum,
Just for information...
What is your Exact PSU model?
-
I'm not going to use F5, mainly because it's not a BIOS issue. But also because from what I've read it makes it worse.

That is what I already said I did. I was looking to a solution to avoid this BS. I just thought it was an issue with the motherboard itself and not the PSU.

Hi again, ;)
On the Corsair site, the person said... he flash a bios and this is helpful for him....
Now, I am not sure, because I do not clearly understand you precedent message.
The solution ''Solved'' ... are good for your situation or no? You write ''avoid BS''.... So BS means Best solution or no?
Sorry is not clear, for me. My english is not natural language.
Have you again, always the bad situation with your computer?
Maybe use a:
Reset Button Key on motherboard to Reboot system
Direct To BIOS (DTB) on the motherboard to :
Enter BIOS menu instantly after reboot. No more ‘Del’ key hitting.

So it's the PSU.
Still strange tho, i mean the OC Ignition can be turned On and Off.

I know it's a problem only encountered when used with this PSU, but I'm still going to put it on Gigabyte. Considering it works fine with every other Z87 Board, and the stuffs up when it comes to this gimmick.
