Title: X58A UD3R rev 2 - buzz sound coming from computer
Post by: iExchange on June 24, 2013, 10:00:18 am
Recently my pc sometimes emits some buzzing sound randomly when im using it and Im not sure about the sound source. im not doing things that require high performance.
I didnt make any changes to my hardware or software. This leaves my head scratching. I have never heard such kind of buzzing sound though.
Note: although its buzzing, the computer wont shut off automatically itself. However im a bit worried so i turn it off immediately as soon as i hear the sound.
Please watch the video for the sound:

Would be very happy if someone could kindly tell me what is happening, what are the possible causes and if there is anything that i can do to stop it.
Thanks!

ps I have made sure that its not the fan kicking those wires.
