Title: GA-780T-D3L rev 3.1
Post by: metabesk on June 25, 2013, 01:05:02 pm
In the official site of Gigabyte it's written that this board revision doesn't have support for fx-6300 but in rev 4.0 the cpu is supported. INn rev 3.1 there is 2 bios update but all the cpus in the compatibility list is supported since the first release. So what did they do in 2 updates? Nothing about cpu support?

Does anyone know about this? Because in my country it seems that only the rev 3.1 is acquirable. I want to use an fx-6300 with this board.

Thanks in advance

In the bios update they included support for the 125W processor that is listed. You could email gigabyte tech support to see if they have a beta bios that supports the chip you want to use.

If the CPU is not listed on the page don t buy the board ,get the right version or get a AMD 9xx chipset based board as you should with FX CPU-s.
