My keyboard and mouse are always disconnecting while gaming or surfing. I"m using win 8 pro 64 bit. I have them plugged in where gigabyte recommends to plug them in at. It makes the sound like I'm unplugging them and plugging them back in. Then sometimes they turn off completely like the lose power all together, all the lights turn off on mouse and keyboard. I have a logitech g 15 keyboard and a logitech g500 mouse. Is it drivers? Faulty motherboard?
my bios version is f2j, 3570k, corsair memory, hyper 212 evo.

Have you tried other keyboard/mouse to see if it also happens? Some time ago I had the same problem with my mouse (Logitech MX518) It seemed to be common problem with those MX518 that the usb cable rather soon not sit good connected anymore. Replaced it with a G400 and problem was solved.
There also recently came out new USB drivers for UD4H board (Intel(R)_USB_3.0_eXtensible_Host_Controller_Driver; VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.00B_WithAp) (no links, just filenames)
And MB bios f2k. For this link I can search, will add it in a moment.
