Title: GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI frozen bios
Post by: pasq on July 02, 2013, 01:01:11 am
Hello to all, this is my first post.
I am building a new workstation but from the first boot i have the BIOS frozen on the start up screen with "gigabyte ultra durable 5".
The keyboard is working, for example with CTRL-ALT-DEL it will restart the machine. Also I have already clear the CMOS.
Reading about other topics I suspect that both video card.

My setup:
GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI
INTEL XEON E5-1620  3.60GHz
KINGSTON Dimm Valueram 16 Gb (4x4Gb) ddr3 1600 Mhz CL11 ECC
NVIDIA Quadro K2000
OCZ - Solid State Disk 128 GB Vertex4

What should I do?
thanks in advance.

Check the firmware for the MB. I had to install F4w to use the GT640.

Good Luck
