my mobo,
GA-Z68XP-UD4 (rev. 1.0) f6 bios
win7 64 sp1
hi, i recently bought a MS xbox 360 windows controller and have noticed my system become unstable since its been plugged in.
first thing i noticed was my mouse would randomly die for a few seconds, that happened a few times a day, after a few days of that both my mouse and keyboard died completely and the only thing i could do was a hard PC reset... at that point i thought it must be a USB port issue and then realized this all started happening since the 360 controller was plugged in so i unplugged it and haven't had a problem since!
Ive tried the controller in both the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports and i get the same problem.
another strange thing Ive noticed when the controller is plugged in... in a game I play (counter strike global offensive), if i set a fps limit e.g 130 maximum frames per second it limits it to around 125fps, if i unplug the controller i get the 130fps limit i set. (i dont use the controller in this game its plugged in but idle)
thats as much as i know at this point, if anyone can offer some help so i could have my controller plugged in all the time would be great
thanks
