Title: GA-EX58-UD5 memory question
Post by: takman on July 06, 2013, 06:46:11 pm
I have GA-EX58-UD5  MOBO.   I want to upgrade my RAM, and I am trying to figure out what I should buy...

I just pulled out a stick of kingston 2GB RAM i installed 4 years ago, and it's 1.65v...oops? the specs on the mobo say 1.5v

Dual/3 channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 2100+/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules#

I was looking at 1600mhz ram, but its not supported?

Suggestions on what RAM i should get?

hi takman,  ;)

If you want use only your old memory with a 1.65v.. is not a problem.

But If you want more ram... like 8Go or 12Go or more or less....

The best is change a stick of ram for all new brands or model ... with a 1.5v ...
