Hi! I'm trying to build a PC for the first time.
I want to check the compatibility of the following Motherboard and CPU:
GA-H61M-D2H-USB3
and
Intel Core i3 3220 55W
Though the CPU compatibility page of the said motherboard does list Core i3 3220, it says that the support comes after a certain F4 BIOS update.
I just wanna know if that would be a problem when I assemble the components for the first time. I mean, will I be able to run the system out of the box? i.e. Will the motherboard come with the F4 BIOS update? And if it won't, will the CPU be detected at all? ???
This question might sound stupid but I am a newbie after all. :P
So please help me. Thanks! :)

The board GA-H61M-D2H-USB3 currently has F7 as the latest stable bios, and the F4 bios from which the Core i3 3220 is supported dates back to 27/March/2012. If you are purchasing this board now then you should definately get a BIOS later than F4 preloaded in the MB. Unless you purchasing a very old stock, i think you should go ahead a buy the board.
