Title: Board hacked? Anyone get this message ...
Post by: lasitter on July 25, 2013, 08:04:16 am

I create unique logins / email addresses for all the boards I visit, and did so for this board. That means whenever I receive spam or phishing attacks, I can easily identify the source.

The following email came from an email address uniquely associated with this forum, just in case anyone else has seen it. I can supply the raw data / headers if a board admin requests it.

You're not alone - my Gigabyte-specific email address has been given to/sold to/stolen by the Origin game Support spam wastrels.

If I recall correctly, this isn't the first time it's happened at Gigabyte - so they're pretty lax in the security department, which is very sad.
