Title: 785GT-UD3H (rev 1.0) and DDR3-1600 memory issue
Post by: lordsilencer on February 08, 2010, 04:20:57 am
Hi, I have a pair of a-data DDR3-1600+ 2G memory module using in this board. If I keep the default settings (running in DDE3-1333) I don't have any issue. However if I set to run in DDR3-1600 the system will become unstable. I tried to added the voltage to 1.65v already but the problem still the same. Is there any way to solve the problem?  ??? ???

first look at the "approved memory" list on the gigabyte motherboard homepage
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/MemorySupport/mb_memory_ga-ma785gt-ud3h.pdf
is your memory on the approved list?
you may be able to run it by changing the voltage and timing  settings. But it is not recommended, and considered experimental.
start with the memory on the approved list, and give it plenty of ventilation air.
do you have the memory installed in the two blue sockets?
