Title: EasyTune 8 (Z87) works on Z77 motherboards?
Post by: Jucosky on August 03, 2013, 12:13:41 am
I know it's a crazy question and what Gigabyte says: "only for Intel 8 series...". But that's my question: does the brand new EasyTune 8 work on my "old" G1.Sniper M3? I've installed APP Center and @BIOS, and they worked just fine (I changed the BOOT logo with this "Z87" software!), but when I try to start EasyTune, it just crashes.  ???

If it really don't work, here is an ideia to Gigabyte: make this brand new and amazing software compatible with Z77 motherboards!  ;)

EasyTune 7 (and 6) works on the Z77 motherboards, just so you know. The reason (and I am guessing) that 8 doesn't work is because of the different processor/chipset combo, If you go out and buy a new processor and motherboard, which is exactly what both Gigabyte and Intel want you to do, then the new program will work
