Hi
I have been out of the PC game for a while having been using MacBooks but am in the process of building a new PC
The problem is, when I boot up, there are no beeps whatsoever, nor any display so far as I can see
The spec is as follows:
CiT 1017 Black Mesh Midi Case LED Fan 500w PSU
AMD FX-8120 3.10GHz AM3+ 8 CORE 16MB CACHE (D8120FRG... (161078741597)
Gigabyte GA970A-DS3 Motherboard
Liteon Ihas120 20x Dvd±rw (dual ±r)/ram Sata Drive
Toshiba Hdd Retail Kit 3.5'' 2tb
TP-Link Wireless-N150 PCIe card
8GB Corsair DDR-3300 memory
AMD Radeon HD 5450 (2GB) Full HD Graphics Card
As far as I can see everything is seated properly, and all connectors are connected correctly to the case. The PSU fan goes round
Thanks in advance for any help

what kind of keyboard are you using if it is usb do you have a ps/2 you can use instead to try.

I don't know anyone who would recommend using one of those cheap power supplies that comes free with a PC case. I would start by replacing that with a good quality power supply.
Did you install a system warning speaker? What's a DDR 3300 memory?

I realised I didn't have a speaker, so installed one, still no beeps
I will try changing keyboard, as I have one of each, but I'd still expect something to come up on screen
Memory is Corsair XMS3 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Single Module
I know the PSU might not be the greatest, but surely it would suffice to get into bios
I have tried an alternate graphics card, tried reseating everything, but still no joy
