The card is connected properly to the Motherboard (Asus P8Z77-V-LX2)
The card is connected properly to the Monitor.
The Card is connected properly to the Power Supply.
The fans are running.
However the card is unable to be detected by the System, the system will only run using the Onboard Graphics. I cannot install the Drivers as the Driver setup says it cannot continue as it failed to find compatible Graphics Hardware. Is the Card just faulty and needs to be returned or is there something I need to do to allow it to work?

Few options you can try:
1. Update you MB Bios to the latest version.
2. Make sure the init PCIE first option is set to Legacy ROM in the BIOS.
