Has Gigabyte released C2 stepping version motherboards yet? Their customer support people are clueless on what this even is so no point in going through their support. I was looking to get the GA-Z87MX-D3H, but I want to make sure the C2 revision on the southbridge is out.
-
Believe they have, but it's not mentioned in the naming.
Seeing shops wanna get rid of C1 first you might wanna wait a couple of months, unless they wanna sell you a specific C2 board.
-
Would the C2 stepping boards be rev 2.0?
-
From what i heard not.
-
Is there any updating about the C2 stepping?
I want to buy a GA-Z87X-UD4H but I must be more than sure that Gigabyte has released the motherboard with the new chipset C2.
A direct answer from someone of Gigabyte would be really appreciated.
I also contacted the Gigabyte support but I only received unuseful answers... :-[

any word on this?

It's really incredible that Gigabyte does not care of their own customers, I do not have any more words to spend on this. That's just ridiculous.
Bye >:(

My thought exactly mate! Every other major motherboard vendor has already explained to their customers on how to distinguish between C1 and C2 steppings except Gigabyte... I guess they just don't want us to buy their products.

Yes they are not caring customers. Could you please tell me 1 thing. On my recent windows server 2008 R2 with I7 4th generation process Z87M-D3H has some problem in running the drivers like Audio and HD graphics related.. Could you please check my post.
