Title: H61M-D2H-USB3 and G1610 won´t boot
Post by: fernandeznarvionjl on August 21, 2013, 06:24:07 pm
I have a brand new H61-D2H-USB3 with and G1610 processor

System memory is kingston khx16000C9D3B1/4G

When power on is pressed starts speeding power supply fans and case fan, makes two tryies for cpu fan (as a quarter cycle) and then starts cpu fan.

when passed 8 seconds all the fans will stop and cycle again by the same way.

I know that H61 chipset doesn´t support ddr3 1600 modules but should be downgraded to 1333  as explained by memory list.

Could be that CPU isn´t supported, I didn´t find it in CPU list but is LGA1155, and there are some with 2Mb cache 2.6Ghz and 55W Cpu.

Any suggestion ?

Hi there,

you are right, your chosen CPU is not supported on this motherboard. http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4004
If you are still in a position to return CPU or motherboard then you should do this and get components that will work together.
