Title: Gigabye H77M-D3H Shutdown Issues
Post by: Yatti420 on August 29, 2013, 04:16:56 pm
Hi Everybody,

Freenas (9.1.1 - Release)

Can't seem to figure out why my cron job (shutdown -p now) decides to work half the time.. Seems that when the job runs it shuts down the server and then all of a sudden it powers back up.. I've gone through BIOS a few times can't seem to figure this out..

The AC Memory was set to "memory".. I've set to "off" with the same result..

I'm going to create a list in the hopes of diagnosing (will post as I get results).. Not sure if this is a motherboard BIOS issue or something wonky with the way board handling freenas cron job to shutdown?

Note: If I use the GUI or putty to initiate shutdown it seems to work fine..Reboot also works fine..
