Hello all,
I haven't been able to find out any useful hints from the included 'manual' or Gigabyte support yet.
Neither of the boot code lists in the FAQ seem to apply.
Symptom - when started, after a second or two I get one short beep and then system shuts down.
No chance to even check/reset BIOS settings.
System configuration:
- B75M-D3H motherboard rev 1.1
- Antec EA-380D power supply
- Intel G1610 CPU
- 2 x 2GB Gskill DDR3 memory modules
- SATA hard drive and DVD-RW (not yet connected)
Power supply checks OK with other system.
Same symptom with either memory module.
CMOS was cleared, no change.
Case speaker and power/reset switches seem to work.
Any other ideas? ???
Time to RMA?
TIA, Mike

Updates:
- no useful information was obtained via the 'tech support ticket' system.
- I called Gigabyte/USA tech support in Industry, California directly and was able to get their tech to confirm that my m/b was likely the issue.
- The replacement m/b received from the supplier (Newegg) worked!
There are some other issues which will be documented elsewhere.
