I don't know how to fix this and it's not the BIOS because it flashed successfully so I would really appreciate any suggestions

My motherboard is a Gigabyte 880GM-USB3 my processor is an AMD Phenom II X4 955 black edition I have 64 bit windows 7 home premium, I have 2x2GB Corsair DDR3 1600mhz XMS3 RAM, 500GB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s hard drive and an NViDIa GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB graphics card and 400W Xigmatek PSU. I can't post my dxdiag because my pc won't start, I'm sending this off my phone.

Have you checked the BOOT Order in the BIOS? After flashing sometimes the boot order changes somehow. It's happened to
me a number of times.
-
No I haven't but I wouldn't know the correct order but if you could give me any advice on what order is right, that would be appreciated :) thank you
-
Your BOOT drive should be listed first. On booting the computer your BIOS looks for a bootable device, ie Hard drive, SSD, DVD(CD), etc.
The order is set in the BIOS. Check your manual.

I'll try that thanks

It didn't change anything but thanks for the idea. It just gets to the part where it says loading windows and there are 4 coloured balls rotating, then it blue screens for a split second and restarts. Also it only gets that far on AHCI so I'm fairly sure that's the one I'm supposed to be using

On a connected note, do I have to clear my CMOS values manually before selecting load optimised defaults?

Overclocked?
