Hi
I have a GA-H57-USB3 mobo, and have previously been using 5 x 1TB SATA drives in a RAID5 setup, with no problems.
The time has come to upgrade the RAID, so i've bought 3 x 4TB WD SATA drives, but the Intel Rapid STorage Option ROM only see's them as 1.6TB drives. Not 4TB.
I think i need to upgrade the Intel Rapid STorage Option ROM, but want to know the official way of doing so. Has anyone managed todo this?
I'm currently on 9.5.0.1037.
Many Thanks

You could try and update it. But it is over 2 yrs old too Ver. 10.6.0.1002. Just download it unzip it and run it. All you can do is try.

Hi dmdilks.
Where can i get that version from? I can't find it on Gigabytes support site, and Intel only seems to support their own boards.

Managed to sort it.
I followed guides and downloaded the latest Intel Rapid Storage Option ROM from the awesome www.win-raid.com Fernando (owner of site) helped me out on the forums, and now my little GA-H57-USB3 has version 11.2.0.1527 of the ROM, but....most importantly............my 3 WD 4TB drives are detected as 4TB drives!
