I have a similar problem. sometimes I have difficulty powering up and get the "main Bios is corrupted" message. System has recovered automatically from the backup Bios every time so far. My motherboard is a GA-H61M-DS2 DV1, with a Celeron CPu. The PC is only 3 days old!

When you guys shut down the computer do you turn off the power to the computer too?

That is by switching off the power on the PSU or power strip. If you do try just shutting down and leave the power on.

If the computers boot without that happening it could be the battery.
