Title: GA-Z77X-UD3H display port
Post by: Craig 125 on September 23, 2013, 09:00:45 pm
I'm building a new system.

This board has a display port and and HDMI port?
What's the difference?
What type cable is used on the display port? The connector appears different than HDMI.

I assume I can use this with the i5 3470 CPU? (I'll get the GA-H77M-D3H if this doesn't have any advantage)

Thanks

I did some more checking and it appears that the display port uses it's own unique connector. But I've never seen one like it so does that mean these are fairly rare on monitors?
